An infinite monkey writes…
Diane’s fascination with the inexplicable started early. As she looked down from her bedroom window, peering into the darkness beyond the circle from the yard light, her imagination filled in the shadows.
It was the era of The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits. The Ouija Board, fortune telling cards, and games of Dimension Travel or Gods and Goddesses were part of growing up. All this led to wondering, “What if…?”
The magic wasn’t just her imagination. She describes her years “dancing with the wind” as a hang Glider Pilot as very mystical and profound.
Those times are past, as are the days of raising kids, but never having grown up herself, the desire for the magical remains.
Today, it is in the stories she tells, and the characters and worlds she creates.

Fairies and humans collide in this magical book (pun intended)! I enjoyed the twists and turns to the plot but also the humorous style in which it was written. Can’t wait for book 2. The author left me hanging and wanting to experience more of the characters adventures.

A friend recommended this book to me, so since it was on Kindle Unlimited, I decided to try it. Even though I’m not a fan of books about fairies and magic, I found this one well-written, and I kept reading to find out what happened to the characters.

I loved this book and the first one, Broken Circles. These are not your typical fantasy books. There is a mixture of traditional and modern attitudes. The plot twists are original and unexpected. There is a point in Beggar’s Gate where the horses are under a magic spell to enable them to run longer and harder, but you only need the spell of the story to keep going.
